okay so they start getting into racial politics a bit and it is AWESOME bc I love that shit in sci fi. They imply that humans are few and far between and also second-class citizens but Cale himself really looks down on non-humans in sort of reactionary way which is a genuinely interesting development because he also isn’t into the whole “solidarity thing” meaning fellow humans, and I think his whole misanthropic fuck everybody hermit thing is pretty interesting and I wish they;d explored that more because in the end it just turns out he’s a sassy loner han solo wannabe and that is BORING.

and if I recall right the race politics basically go nowhere and I really need a gif of kevin sorbo yelling DISAPPOINTEDD!!
