AUGH Thank you! I’ve been a tiny bit anxious about being Chell (…even though she only has about 30 lines in the entire story) and all this encouragement is just so sweet! BEST FANDOM EVERRRR and I’m so elated I get to contribute.

I hope you don’t mind that I answer this publicly, because it gives me an excuse to talk about podsky, and I know people are curious to know what’s going on. Most of what I’ve personally been doing so far is sending in mic tests and squeeing with fellow VAs, BUT most of the hard work is currently being done by the amazing producers and sound team.

As a lowly voice actor I’m not privy to all the inner workings and technical stuff, but progress is definitely being made! They’re getting everyone sorted in terms of recording equipment, and I’ve been told that lines are going to be recorded “pretty soon” (whatever that means! Also it’s probable that this time frame of sorts only applies to me, since Chell doesn’t have any lines at all till the 3rd chapter). There is a lot of forward momentum, but this is a really big and ambitious project with a LOT of work to do behind the scenes, so it’s probably going to require some patience. So even if you’re not online much or otherwise occupied, (and I feel you there; I too am trying my best at “having a job” and “being a responsible adult”) the (incredible, fantastic, breathtaking) producers are really good at keeping everybody in the loop, so you will definitely hear some news when there is any to report.
