aaah this is such a nice moment! Maybe my favourite one. Cale is whining to Korso about his daddy issues and says “y’know, I miss him” and then goes to leave and he’s halfway to the door when he hears Korso quietly say “me too.” and Korso didn’t say it to cale, he said it to himself, looking out at the stars and thinking about his friend and about how he’s betraying him and going to basically kill his son and I’m pretty sure this is the first and only time he lets himself be sad and guilty about that, the first time he confronts his own culpability.

this scene with the wake angels is really beautiful and man oh man am I ever getting a hugeass hit of high school nostalgia. I had the Titan a.e soundtrack (YEAH I KNOW SHUT UPP) and this song makes me think of late summer nights driving with the windows rolled down and the music turned up, going too fast to try and make it home before curfew.
